HomeLab
Developing a HomeLab.
Things I Learned
-
Start small.
Don't invest a lot of money. You may decide a HomeLab is not for you.
-
Set-up a wireless/wired network.
A network seperate from your main home network is practical advice. You don't want your experiments to bring down your main network.
-
Invest in a battery back-up (Uninteruptable Power Supply UPS)
-
Start with a file server.
A simple file server is the basis for your HomeLab.
-
Back-up the file server.
You don't want to lose the time-invested by a file server crash.
